Mischa's New Movie

Mischa Barton is to appear in a new movie. The name is "Don't Fade Away" where she plays the part of Kat.
Life was good for Jackson White. But, when he went to New York City to try and get a job in the music industry, he lost track of who he was. After getting professional, he was sent home because of his dying father. In North Carolina, he will try and have to get the friends back he lost, and the girl he never met.
The movie is supposed to come out in later 2007.

The Halls Of 'Sophomore' Set

"The whole plot is quite deep. The characters are quite well-rounded," Barton told MTV News during a recent visit to the film's Bayonne, New Jersey, set. "I think what's really nice about it is that there is really mature dialogue in there. It still holds [to] those high school stereotypes, but it harkens back to 'Ferris Bueller' or a good high school movie where you really love the characters."
But don't let the fact that it's set in a high school fool you, Barton insisted — this movie is adult through and through.

Mischa signed for Walled In

Mischa Barton will be doing a psychological thriller, Walled In, along with Deborah Kara Unger, and Cameron Bright. The filming will begin on October 22nd in Saskatchewan and it will be a French-Canadian co-production.
Mischa, in the movie, will discover bodies within the walls of a building that she is supervising after a razing in there. Then she gets entangled in the mystery of never-tell secrets of a killer. ... Read More ...

Barton to star in conspiracy comedy

Yahoo! News reports that former 'The O.C.' star Mischa Barton is set to act with Bruce Willis in a dark high school comedy.
According to ananova.com, Barton will play a popular student who discovers a sinister conspiracy. The film 'Sophomore' stars Bruce Willis as the school's principal. Willis' real life daughter Rumer stars as another student.
Work on the film will begin in August this year.

 Mischa Barton has apparently been given the all-clear.
The former O.C. star spent about two hours in a Los Angeles-area hospital over the weekend, after falling ill at
Nicole Richie's Memorial Day barbecue.
Barton's publicist says the starlet suffered an adverse reaction after consuming a few cocktails on top of the prescription antibiotics she was taking for a persistent case of bronchitis.
"She is fine now," said a statement from publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnik. The statement said Barton left Tuesday for an undisclosed overseas location to begin work on a new movie. ... Read More ...

The former O.C. star, 21, understands the pressures of being in the spotlight as a role model, but despises the way the media constantly associates her with Richie, who suffers from hypoglycemia.
The condition means the skinny socialite's blood sugar levels are often too low to provide an adequate amount of energy for her body.

TeenPeople.com reports Mischa Barton is aparently romancing Keira Knightley's ex Jamie Dornan, after the pair were spotted together in London earlier this week.
The actress was seen leaving an Arcade Fire gig in Brixton on Wednesday night with model Dornan by her side.
Barton, 21, split from her boyfriend of 18 months, rocker Cisco Adler in February (2007), while Dornan ended his two-year romance with Knightley in late 2005.
